Bernadette Almanzar is the Qualifying Broker and owner of Pueblo del Sol Real Estate, which she founded in 1995. She has been successful in the real estate profession for over 29 years, seeing her company become one of the most respected real estate agencies servicing Las Vegas and Northern New Mexico. Her local heritage and Spanish language proficiency are both valuable assets in her work.
Bernadette was born and raised here in Las Vegas by entrepreneur parents, also born and raised here. When she became a single mom raising her 5 sons here, she felt the need to be independent, too, and Las Vegas gave her the opportunity. She established Pueblo del Sol Real Estate 29 years ago to provide real estate services for generations of Las Vegas families and the first point of contact for new residents. She’s had the privilege of watching Las Vegas change over her lifetime and have experienced the loyalty of this charming and culturally diverse community as she provides professional real estate services.
Prior to work in Real Estate, her experience includes management of a Land Surveying Company for 8 years, which provided her with invaluable management experience. In this position she gained a wealth of knowledge with respect to real estate property data and survey interpretation. Bernadette also holds a master’s degree in social work from New Mexico Highlands University, which has proven invaluable in working with individuals and addressing their specific needs as they buy and sell real estate.
She is active in the Las Vegas community, having served on the Board of Habitat for Humanity as president and as a member of of First Born of Northern New Mexico.
As business continues, Bernadette maintains that her aim is, and always has been, to uphold a high standard of professionalism.
In her spare time, Bernadette enjoys running the Gallinas River Path, biking to Montezuma and the United World College, hiking and, of course, dancing. New in her life are her two grandchildren and her golden doodle, Maggy, who enjoys walks at Carnegie Library Park and Storrie Lake.

Reina Fernandez – Associate Broker,
Reina has been licensed broker in Las Vegas, NM for 6 years. She moved here from Ontario, Canada over two decades ago and instantly fell in love with Little Las Vegas. After earning two bachelor degrees and completing the coursework towards a master’s degree, Reina moved around Arizona, New York, and various places in New Mexico before Las Vegas beckoned her back.
Since she was old enough to have a job, Reina sought out opportunities to work with and help people. She has managed health food stores, fought wild land fires, worked in public affairs at a VA hospital, and done outreach with non-profit organizations. Some time after Reina purchased a home through Pueblo Del Sol Real Estate, Bernadette encouraged her to pursue her associate broker’s license. Passionate about helping people and intrigued with the unique architecture, history, and diversity in the Las Vegas area, this has been a great fit. She is thrilled not only to be able to assist people navigate through the process and challenges of buying and selling their home, but also to help newcomers in learning about and appreciating our beautiful little town and surrounding area.
Reina currently serves as a board member for MainStreet de Las Vegas and has been a member of the Rotary Club. She spends her spare time with her family and their two dogs – bicycling along the Gallinas River path, rock climbing in the Montezuma and Pecos area, snowboarding at Sipapu Mountain, hiking all over the place, taking photographs, and continuing to explore all that Las Vegas and Northern New Mexico has to offer.
